soon to be s2k driver?
well i been thinking long and hard about this and i have come to a decision. i wanna get a s2k. but i been looking thru the threads and i see that alot of s2k drivers say that i should stay away forn the 2001 due to the rear plastic window. is it that big of a deal?
and what do u guys think is a good price for a 2002 with about 30-40k miles on it, i been looking but they are still pricey. (22-25k). i just wanna get a good deal on one.

the plastic window isn't that big of a problem...it just has a problem with hazing and not looking as good as the 02-up...
check on s2ki.com..private sellers are selling them for way cheaper than 22-25K

dam looking for an s2000 is harder than i though, i might get it early in january or late february now, but i cant make up my mind if i want a 2002-03 or the 04'!
i love to get an 04 but now that i think about it, the s2000 isnt problaby a good choice for me since i live in MA, does anyone here drive year around even during winter weather?

hi,
my cousin has an s2k and thats his only car. He's driven thru chicago winters (yikes)..and winter tires is obviously a must. He told me he still has a hard time with traction..he was driving real slow in a parking lot and he hit a patch of ice..his car just slid and bumped a car..he as a little bump on his bumper..
i think most guys on this forum are very passionate about their cars..so if you're cautious, you should be alright...?
