Farwell Honda-tech
It looks like im done with integras..
I had a RS & a Gsr for about 2 years. I was NEVER into 1/4 mile racing or how much whp i can make or into street racing either. Both of the cars were extremely slow so, I just made both cars handle very well and enjoyed them both. The gsr i sold about 4 months ago.. The only thing i liked about the gsr over the RS was that it had a sunroof and nicer interior. Vtec is extremely overrated and i found that out immediatly after purchasing the car.
I just finisehd selling my RS and have moved onto something better to my liking. 1992 toyota mr2 turbo. It is 20X better than what either integra could have become and i am so happy with it. It has a little body roll on stock suspension but it handles so friggin well i have so much fun driving it and i can never have enough... I plan to slightly tweak the suspension, get nice shoes, maintain and just enjoy the car.
It's not like anybody here knows me b/c i was never really into the whole honda scene. I was just a kid who liked my car thats all. Ill definately be popping in to check out the welding & fab forum but thats about it. Ill be at http://www.mr2oc.com for now on..

So you just wanted to say goodbye to a forum that focuses on Integra's, a car which you never really cared about in the first place?
A GSR is slow, but it can made just as fast as a MR2 turbo without the turbocharger. And if you did add a turbo to the teg, a MR2 wouldnt have a chance.
Whatever floats your boat though and welcome to the world of high maintenance and expensive parts.
Peace.

Since im still browsing the forum 1 last post.
I liked my RS teg dont get me wrong, its just that i felt it there wasnt any more room to grow with the performance of the handling before going extreme. I felt it was time to move up to a much better platform. I dont care about whos faster & who has more power. I just love a great handling car and the toyota mr2 turbo fit the bill. Parts are CHEAP, yes cheap! After all, theyre toyotas not bmws here! Yes, a rear mid mounted engine can be a paint, but hey, its the price i gotta pay to move up in the game.
shifting at 8.2k rpm is gay and having less than 150ft/bs tq is gay as well. Like i said, im not all about power and can care less about a bumped up compression vtec motor. I plan to do the regular upgrades to take advantage my my turbo motor, but other than that i want to keep it in stock form. "if its not broken dont fix it".
Not trying to insult the community here at all so dont get it twisted.
