eibach vs other brands?
hello
ive been looking into suspension kits lately, and ive noticed that eibach seems to have different looking springs. upon researching i find this:
Some common aftermarket spring rates are shown below. Note the eibachs, they are variable rate springs. Variable rate springs are often touted as "wuss springs" because of their softness when uncompressed. Linear rate springs are generally better for performance but much worse in the ride department.
so are eibach springs bad? do any of you guys run their suspension kits?
and while this is here... whats the lowdown on running say a pro kit (eibach says they can be run w/ oem shocks) or maybe some teins on stock struts? will they blow even if they are made for the oem shocks? when shocks "blow" does the ride become very bouncy?
thanks

Ford, Mazda, Dodge, Nismo, Lotus, Ferrari, Bugatti, Volvo, VW, Audi, etc all buy our "wussy" springs. We must be doing something right.
Our kits perform very well with OEM shocks.
