when i use my vaccum assembly, do i need both minature canisters that are attached to the map sensor(one is the purge solenoid????, and i don't know the other) cause my frien is only using one on his dx and his vaccum is fine. i have a b16a in my crix.

One should be your MAP sensor and one should be the purge solenoid. Which "canisters" are you speaking of- you don't have a CAL/50state model do you? IS your map sensor mounted in a black box or just to the firewall?

 

i have 2 canisters that look the same(one of which is the purge solenoid) and i have the map sensor connected to the same assembly. i can only figure the map and the purge into the picture

 

 

My crx only has a MAP and a solenoid with a filter "canister" on top of it. Did yours come out of a black box or is it mounted to the firewall?

 

all of them are mounted to the firewall. yes there is 2 canisters and the map sensor which are all together.

 

What size is the canister in relation to the purge solenoid?
