its been raining here in Montreal for the past 2 weeks. When I drive no water leaks in but when i'm parked I don't see anything. When I come to the car in the morning the floor carpet is soaked, under the seat it's the same thing. I don't know where the water could be coming in from.... any ideas? hole in the floor? antena? anything? thx
i had that some type of thing happen on the passenger side in my rex. we took some caulking to the worn and flaking seals around various windows and it hasnt leaked again! so check your seals and if u wanna be ghetto like me just get some clear caulking haha
Check the grommet on the driver's side frame where the hood release cable goes through. I recently had an inch of water in my accord and it was because that little plug had popped loose.
It's either worn or clogged water drains underneath your fenders. Just watched a mechanic at work the other day spend about 5 hours diagnosing the same leak. Fortunately you will have an easier time locating yours than on a brand new Acura MDX.
I had the same problem but it was my front windshield leaking. Don't use silicone I found out that it traps water which will equal rust. I did this to try to fix mine and it didn't work. I had a new windshield installed yesterday on my car because my hood flew open at 60 mph and slammed into my windshield. I'm still pissed about it.

I had two leaks. My floorboard was flooding real bad. I had my windsheild replaced and that cleared up. I still cant figure out why my spare tire compartment keeps flooding. I replaced the tail light seals, checked the hatch seals (they are all still fresh). Someone told me that the water can seep through the point where the rear hatch stuts bolt to the body. Any suggestions would be great...
The spare tire well leak is common on the CRX. Sound like the only thing you didn't check is the rear window washer squirter. Just re-seal it with some silicon and the problem will go away. Also if you have a moon roof, pull the trim out and you will see two rubber hoses with flapper valves on the ends. The valves are supposed to keep bugs and stuff out, but they mostly just stop dirt and grease from exiting, so they block up and eventually the roof leaks when they are full.

Hahaha, you've never diagnosed a water leak have you? Water finds a way from anywhere to anywhere...

I had this exact problem! I fixed mine. Here's what I did..
Look up behind the dash near the hood release. There's a tube about 3/4"-1" in Dia that pops into the kick panel side of the car. Mine was off and just dumping all the drainage water into there. I'll try to get a pic for u.
