hey guys well i be able to put in gsr piston in a b18a block for a lsvtec set up theres gonna be a gsr head on it would i have to use gsr piston and gsr rods? or can i just slap on the piston on the ls rods

ls crank=ls rods, gsr crank=gsr rods in either 1.8 block. you will need to shave 1mm off each side of the small end of the rod to use the gsr pistons. You would be better uf getting a set of p30's. Dont forget the 8mm arp rodbolts, some oem b16a rodbearings, and a vtec oil pump.

You should be able to slap gsr pistons on ls rods. I have seen it done before.
