LS-VTEC into 88 HB

I just swap a Ls-Vtec into 88 HB and the main thing that's giving me a hard time is the clutch cable. Right now i'm using the stock cable, which cable should i use?

stock cable should work fine

I have a crx and I know when u swap the b16 you r suppose to use a 90-91 Acura integra clutch cable and the adjustments a different. The adjustments are longer I know if your using a stock one your probably at the end of the cable stretching the hell out of it.

bingo, what if somehow i got the stock cable into the clutch arm how will it shift being so tight? this is just a hypothetical question i will probably get the 90-91 DA cable tommorow.
