do you guys think i can fit a 24.5x8x15 slick on a ls mesh wheel?

i just need them to work for one race do you guys think it will work or will the tire spin inside the wheel

making about 500whp

 

LS wheels are what, 15x6? I would think they would be fine. As far as wheel spin inside the tire, only one way to find out

 

stock wheels are 15x6. I was talking to John from MandHtires.com aka SlickMH here on H-T and he told me the SRT-4 Neons run 15x6 with 24.5x8.5x15 all day long with no problems so I wouldnt see a problem with these. John knows his sh*t from what i heard him say for the hour i was talking on the phone so I believe him.

 

sweet anymore imput would be great. im just poor right now and cant afford wheels for slicks

 

well, i had the same problem when i bought my slicks last week, Si stocks and really nothing else. I was going to mount them on the Si's but I decided to get Konig Heliums because they are cheap and SUPER light. The heliums are 15x6.5, I was going to get the konig rewinds which are 15x7 but they were just too ugly .

i know i want to here from more people i dont want to spend the money on them and they not work

 

i told u the SRT-4 guys run 6" wide wheels with 8.5" width slicks, it should work
