Dead Radio
The other day my radio was dying and coming back on and I took it out. Ok, then right when I take it out...its very hot on the left side of it with a ton of sparks flying everywhere. First thing I did was plug it back in, only to find that it doesn't work anymore.
Round 2, I go home and stick back on my OEM deck and still no power...
Round 3, replaced the fuse in the engine compartment with a 10amp fuse. That is an OEM fuse for the clock/radio fuse. It was not blown.
Now I am totally lost as to how to get my radio back into action. Not that I don't mind listening to my exhaust all day, just that I'd rather have something to jam to.
Any help my way is appreciated. Thank you

Have a look for another inline fuse fitted to the wiring to your radio that could have blown, they are in a white plastic fitting that twists open so you can replace it, usually on the live feed to your radio.
Yes what he said also check all the fuses under the dash. IF all fuses are good. PUll the radio turn on your volt meter ground the black cable on the volt meter. Turn your car on and probe all the wires that plug into the radio. You'll be looking for a 12v source or reading. Swith the volt meter to 12v DC
