Blower Always On
For some reason when my car is on the air always turns on like it is turned on to level one out of the four levels it could be on. In other words i want the air off, it is still turned on as if i put it on level one. anyone know what could cause it? maybe need me to explain better just let me know. thanks
The blower should allways be on a low setting even with the switch set to off, its to constantly pump fresh air into the cab for whatever reason, every car does this to my knowledge.
i dont think it does because none of my other cars do. like it blows hard like its on number one. you cannot feel the difference between having it on the off position to level one position. i know air is supposed to flow through when u have it to circulate outside air into the car, but when u want it to circulate the inside air no air should be able to come through the vents without the blower being on.
That is wierd. I always feel air coming out, even in the off position, but it's slight.
Whenever I want the air completely off in my '95 I just push one of the buttons that controls where the air goes to (face, face/floor, floor, floor/defroster, defroster) I just push one of the other buttons so none of them are lit up.
For example: It's set on the face one, so I push in the floor one just enough for the face button to pop out and have the light go off.
