broken door handle
my door handle snapped the other day. I went to a junk yard today to try and get one off and i couldnt. that thing is mounted in there like 50 different ways. Is there something that I am missing to get these things off. Also if I do get one from a junk yard, will the key need to be changed or can it stay the same.

My driver door hanle broke, so I have been crawling accross the passenger side to open it.
Should only be held in by 2 bolts and then release the pole from the lever on the backside of the handle.
You should be able to swap the lock from your original to the new one to retain your stock key.

if you are trying take it off from the outside that's wrong...you need to take off the door panel first and sqeeze your hand into the frame with a ratchet ext. or something to take off the door handle...just take off the little clips from the junkyard lock and replace it w/your existing lock-gl!
