Right now im running on skunk2 400f/300r and koni adjs, with no sways as of yet. I compete (well try to
) in SM SoloII class, and im not sure if this is the best budget setup for me. I was thinking of making the switch to progress sport springs, as ive read alot of good things about them. Im sure they will work ok for autox, but what about road racing, which i also plan to do alot of (not competing, just open track days when i can come across them, usually 2-3 a year). Also, will the added weight up front with the b16 be a factor in the way the progress' react?
Heres a pic of me at this last weeks SFR autox

The Tires im running are Advan A032R in 185/60 14 on 91 CRX si wheels. (not pictured)
Any suggesstions are welcome!!
Thanks!

i run 450f/400r eibach springs on gc coilovers with koni yellows (adjustable). the civic si comes with a rear sway, stock, so i haven't up graded that yet. the spring rate combo works well.
this combo works decent on the auto-x track, but i will probably switch the front and rear springs soon to get a little more rotation. you might want to try switching your front and rear springs to get the higher rates in the back.
not sure about road racing yet, as i haven't done it yet myself...

Right now I am running the Tokico Blue Shocks, Neuspeed Green Springs (.8 Drop), Neuspeed 22mm rear sway bar, neuspeed front strut bar, and urathane bushings. I ran this setup this last weekend and it handled great. You wouldn't believe how tight everything is.
tein's HA and if you want switch it to RA springs
just buy a rear suspension techniques sway bar and run with the front bar disconnected when you autocross. When you road race, connect it and run that way. good luck

I use 500 in front and 425 in the rear with the CR-X but I have a very high valve rate in the rear ..but the car is Very neutral...more than likely go to 600 front and 550 in the rear soon
The top racers in my club use H&R race combined with Konis. This will be my new setup this summer.
One guy crx had some Tein and a built b16 that had around 200 hp and the other has a d16 crx with bolt ons, H&R race and Konis. The b16 managed to be first of the 2 with a 2 second advance over the D16 on a 90 secondes course. It was also on a fast course.
The advantage over coilovers is the simplicity, no need to corner weight, no need to swap coils on different course. The spring rates of the H&R are more versatile.

I'm halfway through getting the parts for my setup.... GC's 500 front, 600 rear.. ADDCO rear swaybar... Koni adjustables... should handle very nicely...
