Default Question on 06 S2000 w/ VSA

Kinda disappointed the new S2000s have VSA.

Ive driven several cars with some sort of traction control and although there may be a on/off switch, the traction control will always remain on for "emergency" situations. I understand this is done for the overall safety of the public.

So is there an easy way to have the VSA removed? Would it be as simple as swapping the ECU out for a 2005 and earlier ECU?

The new 06 S2000 is DBW as well. If you do not want VSA I'd start looking for a 04-05 S2000.

VSA uses the wheel speed sensor attached to the ABS system. Just disable ABS.

I drive an '02 Comptech SC S2000. Raw as fuq.

But yet the jury is still out on the '06. I could become a fan of VSA so long as it's done right (e.g. Ferrari).

Is it really much different than disabling another safety feature?

The only time where I can see VSA becoming any sort of problem is on track, in which case, disabling ABS isn't a big deal.

I see absolutely no reason to disable VSA on the street. Maybe I don't do enough burnouts and mad driftin while trying to impress little girls so it doesn't bother me.

I wouldn't disable the abs for track use. IMO its very bad for any beginner or even intermediate
