Default Happy Full Race Customer Service Experience

I bought a FR traction bar > 1 year ago. I took it out of the box, but never played
with it or installed it. I got busy... and I was on the fence about what radiator to
use. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. I was gonna install it... but discovered one of
the rod end was stripped/siezed into the traction rod.

I called Anthony @ FR and he just told me to send the stripped stuff in. They were
backordered on some parts so it took some time. But yesterday I got my new
parts.

Because the older rods are no longer produced, I got 2 new rods w/ 4 new rod
ends, the revised LCA mounts, and all the install hardware. A lesser company
would have just "repaired" the stripped threads and replaced the rod end. FR went
the extra distance!

Install will have to wait, since I'm hitting the roadcourse this weekend. But maybe
next?

FR

I'm oblivious to FR new rods. When did the switch over to using the new ones? I too bought a FR about 4-5 months ago and it is still in the box awaiting to be put in.

Default gold ones are the old

flat gray are new. the gray ones are a bit longer. i think they are needed to work with the new LCA mounts. Also the rod ends have bigger eye holes.

You got one more, Ryan got his fullrace bar today and couldn't be happier. He's installing it now.
(Especially happy about the price Thanks for the hookup, the sticker, and the license plate frame.)

I'm sure he'll update this thread later: https://honda-tech.com/zerothre...ge=16

was there a reason why they changed it?

Found a better way to do it

we are constantly searching for improvements on each and every product we manufacture. We found a way to make the EF bars stiffer and have the car launch harder, so we updated the design.

we did not have any bars fail!! we had two cars where they destroyed the LCA mounts, but i believe those cars had something else wrong with them as we had zero problems on 700+ whp cars over the course of 3 seasons
