Drag radials..?
I am looking at gettting nitto nt555R in a 245 50 16 size, that is the size, but i cannot seem to find a drag radial from another company in that size. So what are your opinions of these drag radials?

It's no coincidence that the weekend the MT drag radials were made available the world record for drag radials fell three times in one race.

Says who? I know they wern't/arn't allowed in the NMRA because BFG sponsored the drag radial class, but other than that there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to run them.

MT and Hoosier did not send their radials to the NDRA for testing thus they are not allowed in power street class. it has nothing to do with BFG sponsorship because they don't even sponsor that class. the fact that MSP's supra did 7.99 on BFG's this past weekend proves they are a good tire.
as for the 16's no one really makes a drag radial for a 16" wheel that is allowed in sanctioned racing. I hope for the hoosiers and MT's to be in the class next year but who knows. also the tires must have 1/16 tread depth to be allowed which knocks MT and Hoosier out of it.
