Noob painting error, need help
I am in the process of repainting my car. The other night I moved my rear bumper that has only been primed and noticed the primer was satrting to crack at the edges when it was flexed. Now my question is do I need to strip both bumpers of primer and start over with a flex agent or can I paint over the primer with a flex agent in the color and be ok. I dont want to have the paint fail on the bumpers and have to redo it next summer. Thanks for your help
i didn't use primer when i painted my car due to painting over another color but with primer i would suggest a flex agent as for the paint itself you wont need flex agent paint is advanced enough that flex agent isn't need anymore
Ok, now do I strip the old primer or just paint over it. If I have to strip it I would rather do it now than a few months down the road. Thanks for the input
