Default Started cutting wires in my crx and could use some helpful insight

So I've got a b18c5 in my rex and thats it besides gauges and the lights. I've pretty much got the bare necessities to keep it on the road. What I decided to do was take out the dash and get rid of all the pesky wires inside the car I didn't need so I could free up some room and keep only what I needed. What my question is, if I follow the lines for the speakers, ac and heat components, and stereo hook ups will I be ok cutting them as I go? Also have any of you done this because I've got them traced and cut from the passenger to drivers side now so there's no turning back. I can already tell all the crap on the drivers side is going to be a headache. My Haynes manual sucks for diagrams so I'm pretty much going off what I think is right.

Sure isn't.

To the OP, try getting a Helms manual. Maybe you're much better at wiring then I am, but if I tried to figure it out all on my own I would mess it all up.

Well for the most part the wiring is simple when you're keeping only the necessary components. All I'm doing is taking the wires out that have nothing to do with keeping the car rolling. I'm also careful not to touch any of the wires that come from or to the ECU.

if you have everything out completely like the dash and all that and you know where each of your harnesses are coming from you can pull them apart. notice how all the wiring is wired up through the harnesses separate out to each component, they seem to be tied in all as one but each harness whether its a stereo ac dash light clock or whatever else is all separately tied in togethre as on in each individul harness. now instead of cutting it and separating it out pull one side of each harness I.E. the readio harness and pull it apart form the main harness going to your fuse box. should come out all as one. And if you do decide to cut anything. DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY FIRST!!!
