Alright guys, I'm bout to get a compression test done and check that everything is workin right so that I can finally start building my engine into a b20. What should I start with first to get my project started?

 

what exactly are u planning to do? r u just trying to turn the b18 into a b20? ls/vtec? turbo?

Are you just boring the cylinders and using b20 pistons? If so, you'll need to have them resleeved, as they'll most likely be too thin. It may be cheaper in the long run to just get a b20 longblock, since they run kinda cheap these days. Password:JDM was running a sale for $550 + shipping.

 

well first I want to go b20 then go turbo soon but it all depends on fast and far I go with building my block and especially the funds but i'll get there someday

 

well if ur gonna go turbo u should probably sleeve the block. if u have a b18 u can just buy 84mm sleeves and there is ur b20 that u want
