Are the rod bolts on a b18b 8mm or 9mm?

i believe they are 10 mm. not 100% on that one but pretty sure.

hmmm. i thought sohc head bolts were 8mm and dohc's were 10mm, guess im wrong.

 

ya dohc are 9mmm I found and the b18b, as well as the sohc are 8mm

Looking in my Helms here:

B18B1 is an 8 x 0.75mm

B18C1 is an 9 x 0.75mm

You must mean DOHC VTEC and DOHC Non-VTEC, right? There are no USDM SOHC Integras.

$250 w/ rings from dealership (aka stealership) w/ discount. well, that's the USDM i think PR3, not P30, but they're close.

Yes you are wrong...head bolts are much thicker on both application.

ya I know head bolts are bigger but I we where talking about rod bolts!!

What's the deal with putting ctr pisotns on my ls rods??? What will my compression be (b18b engine) and are the std size ctr pisotns +.25???

I can get ctr pistons but I don't know if I shouldvs. the p30?

no, you can't put PCT pistons in your LS. (PCT=Civic Type-R Pistons). i mean yes, technically you can, but if you have to ask if it will fit, you probably won't be able to use them. the static compression ratio comes out to about 11.8:1. so basically unless you have some pretty large cams and a very competent tuner, you don't want these. go with PR3 or P30, or go with ITR pistons either P73-00 or P73-A0. there, your pick of 4 different c/r's, and the ITR pistons come with the molybdenum-based anti-friction skirt coating, too.
