Scored a Free K20
After a short trip today I was able to score a free K20 bottom end from my local acura dealership . It spun a rod bearing so I got some work to do. I also picked up to top ends witch I think are from a K20. I am in the process of trying to identify them. If any one can tell me what to look for on the heads I would apreciate it.
Here's a flick of my stash
My homie PePe helped me clean everything up

makes me wanna go ask
how much is it going to cost to get that k running again?</TD></TR></TABLE>
A friend of mine noticed that they were throwing out a bunch of engines. So I borrowed my dads truck and scooped up the best one out of the pile. It needs alot of work. But, it'll be fun to build something from the ground up. It's a type S. So it's got some potential.

honda dealerships always toss motors...a friend of mine works at a dealership close by and they monitor the motors and before the put them out back they damage the sleeves so the engines cannot be reused

but they didnt say that did they? they said they damaged the sleeves, never how. all that ran through my feeble mind was taking a screw driver and scratching the **** out of the sleeve, maybe blowing a b series sleeve, so we were alright there. but fuggit. its still good scrap metal.
