how do i change my door locks on a 94 rs? the ignition key i have doesnt work in the door locks. i have the correct lock mechanism, just couldnt get the old lock mechanism out. got the door panel off. and the metal bar that holds the lock in place off. what do i do next?

If I read your post right, the key that turns the ignition switch won't work in your door locks (and I'm assuming your hatch and glove box)? I think the best way to fix that is to have the ignition switch rekeyed to match the old key. I'm guessing the car was hot wired at some point and the switch was replaced but not rekeyed. Any automotive locksmith can rekey it for $50-ish. I've got the 2 key action on my car too. Lame

 

He doesnt have the key to the doors only the IGnition key,

 

If he takes the VIN to a dealership, they can cut a key for him, assuming the doorlocks are original.
