what should i do??
i recently bought a 2001 integra type r with 54,000 miles on it.
it was in perfect shape except for the fact that the original seats
werent in it " the guy before me who owned it said someone stole
the seats...twice" ....sooo as of now i have del sol seats in there
for the time being.... i have some s2000 seats at my house, but
have yet to install them due to the fact that i have to fabricate new
brackets....
the only thing i have done to the car so far is a viper alarm system...
i am clue-less to what would be the smartest thing to do next...
im thinking i want a skunk2 cat-back exhaust...but im not sure
please respond with opinions...

as far as the s2000 seats, there is a write up around here somewhere, where a guy used civic rails to have to bolt on.
as for exhaust, i like the t1r. It is 2.5piping and sounds damn good!

follow that link above me it contains alot of great info
but speaking from personal expierence i do not like skunk2 exhausts, one of my friends with a itr swapped hatch has a a skunk2 exhuast, and the flanges rusted off the resonator on the mid pipe, and it feel off while he was driving, so skunk2 replaced the mid pipe, then a couple months later the same thing happend on the flanges on the muffler rear section, and they whouldnt fix it, so he had to have it welded out of pocket that happened twice
and a simalar thing happened to a guy at my work with his skunk2 exhaust

what are you looking for in an exhaust, do you want somthing quiet, do you want somthing loud, what are your plans for the car, are you goin with basic n/a mods, or are you going to go all out crazy n/a, are you going to go turbo/supercharged etc etc
theres alot to think about when modding your car so you dont waste money or parts that you will have to replace down the road
best thing to do is figure out what your plans are then go from there
dont choose which exhaust you want before you figure out the above, like dont choose the exhaust based on which one you think looks best, cuz it might be pretty but it might not perform good, or go good with what you want to do to your car

im currently still in high school....but i work at a bank, soo
i dont think i will by doing high mods until i get outta college
from what i've been reading from the link above, it seems like
the apexi n1 cat back would be best.
i want something loud, but that provides good hp gain.
i plan on turbo'n the itr in the future, but like i said it prolly wont be till
after i get outta college...so im doin the basics till then...ex: exhaust, headers, intake, etc....
what do you suggest?

the n1 is nice, i had one before, and a friend has one now, never had any problems with it, it sounded good
if your just going for a budget intake, header, exhaust
id go with a aem cold air intake, a oem jdm itr 4-1 header, and a nice aftermarket cat and a apex n1
not to expensive, and it will sound badass and give some nice power, not huge power but nice power
i ran a 14.2 @98.9 mph with a 2.2 60ft with a aem cold air intake
just to give you an idea of how quick you will be

Why? Just drive w/o and exhaust if loud is what you want!

I have the Apex-i World Sport 2. I thought it was loud right out of the box... but a week later I think its too quiet. I wish I had gone with the N1
