1. What kind of car do you have? (Year, make, model, version.)

2. What do you plan to use the tires for? Will they only be used for autocross, or will you also use them for daily driving, driving on snow, etc?

3. How much do you care about price vs performance?

Answers to these questions will help in recommending a tire size and model to meet your specific needs.

I would stick with your 185/60-14 size. Going to 205 won't really buy you much, other than 4.2 percent speedometer and odometer error, and slower acceleration (it's like putting taller gears into your car).

The Yokohama ES100 tire is $69 each in that size, and is an excellent all-around tire - very good dry traction and handling, excellent in the rain, long lasting, and reasonably priced.
