I've recently got into an accident and got my front end replaced. The hood latch cable was all messed up and I wanted the body shop to order another one. For some reason the body shops kept on saying that the cable they order from the dealer always coming 3-4 inches short. I converted my front end to JDM and still used the OEM hood latch. They were saying that probably your cable is JDM and the OEM won't reach. Does anybody have a similar problem like me and know any solution which cable would be longer that would work 98' integ. Thx any help would be appreciated

 

u got to reroute ur cable to the passenger side or get a DA cable if i am correct.

 

if i try to re-route it to the passenger side wouldn't it b too short? Normally tats how the cable is routed.

YES, USE A DA TEG CABLE

 

An Accord from 94+ will work too I think. Also from a Prelude. Good luck!
