hey sorry if this is the wrong place, but iono where else to put this so plz dun yell anyways, dmv send me a notice to get my car inspected....does anyone noe what the heck will they check??? i also have a h22a BAR, and a vafcII in the car, will that give any trouble??? oh yea my car been to an accident, total lost... thanks alot

If your state doesn't check emission then you will pass.

 

Never heard of Anaheim, California???

Poor sap, He's up against the California Air Resources Board; the Granddaddy of Emissions rules. Hopefully all the inspection stations aren't run by the state (where you can throw some cash at the inspector) but if they are state run - you're doomed, doomed I say!!!

The C.A.R.B. has been around for quite some time; so you can't blame the "Ahhrnold" for that one.

naw, im already thru with the damn ARB people, since i got the car BAR...but im just wondering what the heck do they look for in the car wen those dmv people check the car, since they require a vehicle inspection b4 giving me that yearly sticker....

 

The quick of it?
1) All safety related items, presence of seat belts - etc
2) Inspection Items, Brakes, shocks, suspension, lights, horns - etc, etc
3) Emissions pieces in place: O2 sensors ect
4) Emissions levels themselves

There's a whole book (manual) which each state issues to their inspection stations
