)
Without the PREVIOUS MENTIONED PEOPLE this SEASON WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE FOR ME!!!!!!
We worked very hard this season to get things to turn around for R&D. It took some developement but we did it and THE CHAMPIONSHIP in H1 came down to the last race. I did what I had to do...WIN...I did, but I was 6 pounds under wieght, 1 pound under with the 5 pound allowance. The season came down to 1 pound, and I lost both the race and The Championship. I have no one to blame but myself.
Rules are rules and some times they suck but they are rules and they are in place for a reason.
It took me laying all my cards on the table for the last race and I played them.
Unofficially I ran a 1.22.3xx in practice Sunday morning at Summit Point. I believe that is the fastest a HONDA Production vehicle on 4 wheels has gone. Car was perfect this weekend.
Track Records:

Road Atlanta
Beaver Run
Roebling Road
Thank you ALL for your help and Support

Literally this is how close we were all season long!!!
Great Racing H1 Crew!!!!!!
I will be back......BIGGER BETTER STRONGER....and with extra weight in the car!
2004 and 2005 Honda Challenge H1 SE CHAMP.....
PS....little poke at the west coast guys....
hey my little K SERIES engine is still together.... 1224 track miles so far with 5 track days left this year....is this the only K to go a season at every race without blowing?
Just asking...

Nice job everyone. You guys put on some great racing this year. I hope next season is as entertaining as this past one. It was good to meet you guys in person and I have said before, the NASA folks, students, racers and staff are a great bunch of people.
Congrats on a great season! I only made it out to see a few of the races this year, but they were all great! I would have never thought that the H1 class would have so many drivers that were SO CLOSE on the track. I am used to seeing that in H4. I figured that there would be one or two standouts that sunk a ton of $$$ into their cars and the field would be scattered all over the place. Not the case...GREAT RACING GUYS!
Chad - I sure hated to see you so bummed after the race. I meant to tell you this on Sunday, but if you look back at past ECHC years, this year was by far your best man! The future is looking bright!
Can't wait to see everybody racing again next year!
PS - A nice strong custom cage might help bring Chad up to weight...nudge...nudge...

Awesome Job man, I really hated being the one that could throw a wrench in everything the past 2 weekends. I really had nothing for you last weekend, you were just damn quick! All the H1 races I saw/was in were really competitive. Saturday's race brought us all within .2 second from each other as far as lap times, I think thats awesome
H1 on the East Coast will really be rocking hard! I don't see why there won't be at least 10 competitive cars out each race..

That is correct, the rules state you need to finish atleast 50% distance to be considered a finisher. Also, you have to partake in atleast 10 races in the season.
The NASA site is missing the BeaveRun results.

That's because those results are just NASA-MidAtlantic. Notice the inclusion of the February VIR race, which was not an ECHC points event.

Historically, you need to have started half of the races, which is 7.
You get to keep your 10 top scores (drop up to 4, of our 14 races).

Chad you did great this year and especially this weekend. I told you we should have gotten you some fries and a coke with your whopper. BTW-Now I owe you TWO kicks in the nuts, since we are pulling technicallities.
