FS: 1991 Civic Si setup for STS. Great car! Needs to go to someone who will follow in tradition.
FOR SALE!!!
1991 Civic Si hatchback – 183,000 miles. Teal green; set up for Solo2 SCCA STS class.
I have to sell one of my cars so unfortunately this one has to go. This is a dedicated autocross car that I only drove on weekends and once in awhile to the store and back. I purchased this car back in February 2005 from an owner in Virginia Beach, VA. Car only has two very small rust spots on the rear fenders. About the size of a pea. The hood is in ok shape and was bent when I purchased it in February. Has has a couple dings here and there, but nothing major.
Now for the good stuff
1. Koni SPSS shorten shocks
2. Ground Control coilovers 400f/450r
3. Honda CRX HF front sway bar
4. Custom welded cat back exhaust
5. AEM cold air intake – this was off my 2000 Civic Si and fits perfectly. Plus it’s much larger than the AEM intake for the 1989-1991 Civic Sis
6. Brand new DC Sports Ceramic header
7. Brand new Odyssey lightweight battery
8. Skunk2 short shifter
9. Neuspeed front Upper strut bar
10. Neuspeed rear Upper strut bar
11. Suspension Techniques rear sway bar/tie bar
12. Goodrich Braided Stainless front brake lines
13. Ingalls rear upper camber arm
14. Front Brembo rotors
15. Front AEM brake pads
16. OEM rear drum and shoes
17. Master cylinder was just replaced with a new unit – after installing this the car has awesome stopping power
18. Lightweight crank pulley
19. Sparco Fighter lightweight driver’s seat
20. ECU was reflashed but I don’t know with what parameters
21. According to the previous owner a new windshield
22. According to the previous owner the motor was rebuilt in 2004
23. Rear hatch struts were replaced with new OEM units
24. Denso Iridium spark plugs
25. New spark plug wires
26. Amsoil 5w-30 oil with Mobil 1 filter or Honda filters.
27. Has a new radiator replaced by the owner before me.
28. Brake fluid is Valvoline Synpower brake fluid.
The car is super fun to drive. Brief history:
1st place Northeast Divisional 2005 in the STS class with the Washington DC SCCA group out of 22 drivers.
1st place PA State Championships held in Harrisburg, PA out of 12 drivers.
1st place Valvoline Cup 2005 in the Time Trials
1st place Lancaster Corvette Club Open Class. Has set FTD at all the Corvette events I’ve shown up to.
1st place D Class at Honda Day 2005 at Englishtown, NJ
1st place Susquehanna Region SCCA - STS class
1st place Philadelphia Region SCCA - STS class
I have not lost an autocross since April 2005 J. Serious inquiries only. I’m asking $6000 with the Kosei K1 15x7” wheels and 205/50x15” Azenis RT-215s. No work really needs to be done. Maybe a some paint touch up and fix the hood. But for those who have seen it in action can tell the tale.
It is disheartening to sell this car since it's so much fun. But we just got hit with a medical bill that was a lttle extreme and unexpected. I don't like to beg, but we're also taking donations for some finacial help

Doh - good luck.
if you need, i'll post the cell phone pics i took the last few events.
i never even noticed the rust spots you list, so they must be tiny

I can attest to the quickness of this car, at least last time I drove it.
It was well set-up at the time.
Good luck!

Yah. I was none too happy when he decided to sell it. We were co-driving it at the time and I had to go back to my three-wheeled, over-powered, under-tired jello box.
