anyone use 225/45/15 tires on ITA crx?
I'm currently running 205/50/15's on 15x6.5 rota c8 wheels, no rubbing at all.
Would a 225/45 be advantageous in a low powered car like this?
Would I even be able to fit it without rubbing?
I have no experience with the practical width difference between the two sizes.
I was planning on running the tires on 15x7 kosei k1 TS wheels
Was thinking avon tech RA, or v710 if they make that size before next year
kind of abstract rambling here, just looking for some opinions

I have run both and the 225 is faster. A bit more grip, and no much downside to running the 225. I know I wont go back.
BTW, I am running them on K1's with the 38mm offset with nu rubbing from my RA1's!

It works with a 38mm offset, but the rear fenders need to be seriously rolled and tugged.
Edit - Thats for the 225/45/15 Hoosier, which is really really wide. The Toyo should fit rather easily.

Yup. 225 RA1s don't count as they are about as wide as a 205 Hoosier. I can run 225 RA1s on my GSR w/ +38ET K1s and no spacer.
You need a spacer to run 225 Hoosier on a GSR with a +38ET wheel.

How big of a spacer?

Sweet. My +35mm ATS wheels will work perfect then

Bad idea. Get a spacer

If you put an extra washer or two on the bottom lugs you can gain some negative camber!
get a spacer!

Should. You will have to go to town on the fender, ESP up front.

Good to know...I just got a deal on some used K1s w/225/45-15 V700s last week. I figured it would be tight, but I know it has been done.
