I learned my lesson after I paid over $150 in duty and brokerage fees for getting my RS*R parts shipped here.
This time, I had the parts shipped to a friend's address. Drove there last weekend and picked them up. 6 hours drive each way.
It would have been a good plan...

key word WOULD HAVE BEEN!

I got shafted with a speeding ticket on the way there.. Pissed me off bad.
The cop was freaky too. Had his hand in the trigger slowly walking up to me the whole time.. both on the first approach and when bringing the ticket back...he was conviced I was evil because of my ontario plates! Spent a good 15 min running all sorts of check on me. I don't mind it if they are trying to be safe and all.
I could see his hand on his gun walking up to my window real slow. Needless to say, I didn't make any sudden moves!
Not used to that behaviour here in Canada!

In the end I paid:

Gas for trip: $50 US
Tickets: $135 US
In the end I still paid $185 US!
Bad luck streak continues...
Sucks to be in Canada for ordering parts!
