Default molding part 2

ok ive seen countless of parts that are way over priced and im pretty sure most of us would like to have it but its a bit pricey...

im planning on making molds of certain things like.....
J's Racing Airduct
J's Racing intake (whales *****)
headlight airducts
Eg spoon lips
and trying to make a design for EF,DC,EK, airduct
and other MISC Eg ducting stuff..

At the sametime i want to keep it affordable..im only going to make a few just to see if anyone likes them ..i will make everything nice as possible and will not half *** ..eveything is either polyurethane,fiberglass,abs,etc..im just making this for myself and the moment and some friend...i will have pics in a couple of weeks so i will post the first couple i make

have you worked with carbon fiber before? The main reason for the high prices in carbon now is because of major pirce increases in raw materials. The price of a carbon fiber roll for me has doubled in the last 5 months and also because of the price of crude oil, resins and gel coats are on the rise as well.

Holy contradiction Batman... Composite parts would be cheaper if we worked for free. The parts you listed aren't simple molds especially the ducting and intake. After you build these parts I'm anxious to see how cheap you can sell them for. I think after you spend the time and money to do it you'll change your opinion but post pics and prices when they are ready.

Yeah I agree. I went through 4 rolls of 100 yards just last month! Also when it is time to rebuy supplies you will find kevlar a lot more expensive then carbon fiber! But good luck to yeah! Are you going to open mold everything or are you going to use some sort of advanced composites?

what is the reason that everyone has to attack his intentions if you dont think he can do it then dont say anything but just because you *** carbon fiber products dont try to make this kid look like an *** to try to make your self feel good

no one is tring to attack it, we just hope he knows what he is getting himself into before he dumps a lot of money into it. I wish him the best of luck and if it works out then good for him.
