The Wierdest thing happened...AC fan spining by itself!!!!
actually it happened to me a few weeks ago, right as a storm hit. i just disconnect the negative battery cable. reconnected it the next mourning, and havent had it happen since. and my car hadnt been started for over 4 hours.
still dont know what caused it
still dont know what caused it
First of all, this is not normal, especially when the car hasnt been driven in a long time, say like 4+ hours...and the fan spinning isnt the radiator fan it is the AC smaller fan as stated above. Also, when i turn onthe fan in my car it blows air even when the key isnt in the ignition....wierd ****....must be a glitch due to water or something..searched all over Ht found 2 peeps had similar problems but no cure...anyone out there know the causes for this???...thx
I had the same problem on my car
check thermomator
check fuse under hood labled fan relay
I think its the fan relay that has gone bad
this is not normal
I would get it fixed asap my ac went because I did not

Is your car a 2nd gen Integra? Older Hondas are wired so that the fans can and will run whenever some temp sensor detects certain temperature, whether the car is running or not. Newer Hondas like 94-up do not do this.

it definitely has a problem. Fans should never run when the car is off.

Do you happen to have a leak in your car or alot of moisture in it. If so the is a relay that can turn on because of it. I had this happen to my lude when I had a bad leak the moisture inside the car would turn on this relay.
Ok so the fix leave your car running with the heat on full blast. untill the relay dries out mine took I think an hour. but I was also trying to dry out the interor.
oooorrrrr you can find out where the relay is. I am guessing it has to be under the dash by the ignition or main relay.

my moms 90 Accord does the same thing, when you turn it off after being driven for a while the fan will stay on for about 5 min.
