Default Removing Vtec-E

I have a 92 1.5 vtec-e in my EG can someone tell me what i could swap(((besides the motor))) to get a stronger vtec pull and loose the vtec-e.. i am thinking the head and ECU as well as vtec controller any help would be appreciated.

Just swap in a z6/y8 long block. I say this because the pistons in the z1 block are extremely deep. Thus if you put in a new head it's still going to give you a low compression, which is only good if you are going to Turbo/Supercharge it.
