I just want to get a feel on how many people ended up changing, selling, or trading their turbo parts and engine parts before it was all said and done and put together...

I started my turbo build about a year ago...still going... and let me tell you the parts i first started buying and collecting at the beginning, i dont even have anymore...at first i thought i was gonna turbo my stock gsr and started buying/collecting parts...then after reading and searching on ht and having friends pressuring me to go bigger and the URG to go bigger...i had to sell and trade etc..

whole point is...i prolli lost alot of money in swapping parts in/out to suit my build...first u wanna do this, then you wanna go bigger and then the part you bought cant be used and have to sell it...and it usually sells cheaper then what you bought it for...

So people wanting to do a build! PLAN! and PLAN GOOD! haha...

So how much money you guys think you lost? in parts you bought but couldnt be used later...due to wanting to make more power or just parts you simply overlooked and didnt need...

 

actually i've made about 400 dollars buying **** i ddidn't need or ended up changing

 

Just need another month or two to finish my setup. I've been putting it togther for the past 1yr and a half. Can't wait to be boosted!

 

More than I wanted to...I am redoing my whole set-up before it even went on the car...DOH! Oh well...live and learn I guess
