cause he has a real type r and is some how upset that your car might look like his.

oh got, the humanity.

paint your car champ white, if its a good paint job it will bring the value up, not down.

Do the world a favor and jump off a bridge, you're wasting our air. Your posts (and yes I've read others) suck.

To the original poster, as far as repainting goes, a *good* paint job will bring resale value up, but chances are your dad isn't going to want to pay for a really nice paint job, they usually cost several thousand dollars. Don't take your car to maaco or something and get a crappy one, you'll wish you never did it.

I seriously think I had learned to speak better english than you by the time I was in the third grade. I'm glad there are people like you though, at least places like Chevron and McDonald's will continue to have a steady stream of potential employees. And it also means that Honda-tech will always have da inTarNEt homiez, y0!

But I definately shouldn't be making fun of you, because you're definately a much more valuable member, with brilliant posts such as:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tekneshum2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ok da shop just installed my stock intake manifold on my 94 gsr. no check engine light, but my secondaries are not kickin in. i rev past 5700 and nothing happen. y??? btw where is the butterfly box located at. </TD></TR></TABLE>

or

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tekneshum2 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how do i fully built my gsr motor? where do i start? cost? worthy? </TD></TR></TABLE>

I could go on, but I'd say all 40-something of your posts contain about the same level of intellectual vacuum. Die.

The thing is my Autobody teacher has been painting cars IN HIS CLASS ONLY for free hes been doin it for years. He repainted another teachers BMW 98 I walked to go look at it.. Damn it was a nice job it was shiny i mean he does it for free but if i pay him a little extra or take him out for olive garden rofl he would try alot harder.. Basically i talked to him he said i gotta work on everything myself gettin the old paint off and Supplying the new paint What would i need? i want like factory look CW im thinkin 1000 for the paint and all that stuff labor is free. How would i paint the engine bay as well? Do you guys have websites that sell good quality paint I can take a look at online and ya thanks!

If you're getting the labor for free, then I would say definately do it if you know the guy does quality work. Labor is what you're going to be paying for mostly when you get a point job done. Just go to any store that sells automotive paint and ask them to get you some CW paint, I would think that most places could do it for you. Also, check the dealer, they may or may not be able to sell it to you.

As far as painting the engine bay goes, if you want the job done well and want it to look good, you're going to have to pull your motor/tranny and everythign associated with it, and mask off whatevers left. I know a couple people that tried to paint their engine bays with the motor still in it, and it came out like crap.
