steering wheel makes clinking noise when I turn left
I just got a 2000 Integra GSR with 60k miles on it and the steering wheel makes a clicking noise when I turn left. IT ONLY DOES IT WHEN I TURN LEFT! It does it 2 to 3 times on full rotation of the steering wheel at different stages of steering. Its not loud at all.. mostly audible when you’re testing it with the car at idle. Cant really hear it while driving.. only once in a while. The sound is a clink.. like it does once at around 100 degrees (from all the way to the right) then around 360 degrees.. then maybe again around the end. Is this something I should be worried about? As I said, its not that loud and I haven’t noticed any problems with my steering as of yet, so I’m pretty sure it’s fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated
yes I did.. my friend took a look at them and said they should be fine. he said it doesnt make sense that it only makes the noise turning one way.. it wouldnt be the axle. to me, it sounds like its coming from the steering wheel.
