Default Turbo on a 99 EX 4cyl

I am looking for a new or slightly used turbo kit for my 1999 accord EX 4cyl. I was also wondering if anybody knew of I could take a turbo off another type of car and put it on instead. If so, can anybody give me a type or model that would be right for my car.

FI=Forced Induction

Forced induction
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Forced induction is a term used to describe internal combustion engines that are not naturally aspirated. Instead, a gas compressor is added to the air intake, thereby increasing the quantity of air or fuel-air mixture available for combustion.

Forced induction can be used to increase the power of an engine, its efficiency, or both, without much extra weight. Pressurizing the intake of combustion ingredients increases the effective capacity of the engine without an increase in physical size. The forced induction approach has the advantage that the intake pressure may be regulated according to the engine speed, thus providing power from extra capacity at high speed, but without wasting fuel at lower speeds.

The two different forced induction technologies in common use are superchargers and turbochargers. They differ mainly in the power source for the compressor.

No size will really be right for an F23....a turbo is a somewhat complex series of different parts taht make it work properly, not just a turbo itself goes on the engine.

Most factory turbos are somewhat small so people don't feel turbo lag as bad. On the F22 the Mitsu Eclipse turbo manifolds bolt on but are still kind of small, but you'll want something bigger like a t3/t4 for an F23.

Do you have an auto or manual? 00-01 cars had problems with their trannys going, and it wasnt really exclusive to them, all 98-02 models experienced some sort of problem or another. Not every tranny is bad, just the numbers are great enough to worry about it.

And after that, for god's sakes tune it. an FMU alone won't cut it, you'll need uberdata or eManage, since HOndata doesnt like 6th gen Accords.

My accord is manual. Also I was talking to a guy who said that a turbo from a Talon TSI would bolt on to my car but what I want to know is if it is worth spending the money to buy a used turbo and a new intercoller kit or would it be better to just wait and get a garret t3 turbo kit w/incoller and piping? Also would a incooler kit and piping that is made for an accord fit with a turbo from a talon?
