Default Jonyb's new truck!!! omg!!

Got the truck about a month ago, just finished the lift this week. 2005 2500HD with 7" cognito lift, 6" Deaver springs in the rear, and Bilstien shocks. Still got a few things to do like paint the mirrors, handles, bumpers, add blocks and crank the bars a little. Here the progress so far. Enjoy!

RIIIIIIGHT....... "Good trucks"...... Remember that "employee discount" that went on forever? How do you think GM was able to afford to drop the prices of their vehicles???? OUTSOURCING AMERICAN LABOR!!!!! GM vehicles are being made cheaper every year. With NAFTA they can have Chevys made in Mexico, and they are also making parts in territories that are considered US soil, but labor laws are suspended (thanks Tom DeLay). I guess I'm not down for sweat shop trucks

So that gives you the right to dog my ****. My dad has a Nissan Titan. It's not near the truck that this one is. The Titan gets WORSE gas mileage than the Chevy, and the Chevy has a bigger motor. The Toyota Tundra was a waste to start with. They couldn't pull that log out of your ***.

And yes, there are other trucks out there. That's why I picked the Chevy. The "other trucks" like Nissan and Toyota are 1/2 ton trucks. This is a 3/4 ton truck, but since you're so bitter about some bullshit, you would'nt know the difference.

I didn't start this thread to fight with some jackass that's mad about gas prices. If you're so pissed about it, then go kill yourself. I've got better things to do with my time then argue on the net. IT's pointless Everyone has the own opinion on what's better. Camaro owners think Honda's suck too but that's beside the point.

EMISSIONS man. We al know that MPG and HP figures from the factory are lies, and Ford and GM love to lie about things. Remember how much HP the RX-8 had according to Ford? What does it REALLY have? And you really mean to tell me the Chevy Tahoe gets 30+ MPG.....SUUUUUUUUURE BUDDY Then again, if you were "smart" enough to buy a GM, you must believe what they say.

Your **** pollutes. Bottom line.

They have to drop their prices because they are crap businesswise. They're losing money compared to import vehicles due to marketing problems, union problems, recent gas concerns, etc. They make very good trucks, just the company is tied up with inefficiency, that has nothing to do with the trucks. I'd never have a Chevy car, but if I needed to tow something, i'd be in a Chevy.

You're quite dense. Do you know how many parts Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Chevy, and GM are outsourcing to coutnries like China to save on production costs? Do you know that Honda (and every other maker) contracts out part production (for most parts like alternators, headlights, taillights, filters, etc) to the lowest bidder to offer OE specs? Check under your hood and you'll see Denso, Mitsubishi, and Buss.

COMPETITION.</TD></TR></TABLE>

If you havent noticed, all companies compete. If companies didnt compete, there would be no profits, no variety of vehicles and pricing, and no companies.

There was a sort of gentleman's agreement between the Japanese companies to stop outright competition (slamming each other) but that all changed with Mazda recently. If you look, Ford owns a good chunk of Mazda change, and I think that's why they're competing openly now.
