my ek is gone, got stolen last night, full 01 Si front end, gill, lip, fenders, hood, bumper, OEM foglights, CTR heatlights, JDM sidemarkers, TEnzo RNR lookalikes, Si seats, rear CTR lip, REar CTR tail lights, exhaust, dc frint strut, dc headers, aem camsproket, dc shortshifter, spoon shiftknob, pivot shift lamp, spoon yellow valve cover, pillar bar, rear strut, rear lower tie bar, i had had it for about four months and someone decided that they wanted it more than me so they just took it and away they went with it, bye bye my lil hatchback!!!

 

that sucks man i know how you feel good thing i didnt put work into my rex that got stolen i just wonder if there is anyway to keep a car from gettin stolen..

What kind of security did you have on when it was stolen? SPECIFICS pls so i can protect mine better

 

this is why im layering security like a motha..from wheel boots to gear locks...always park in untowable areas..if you cant..and will be leaving your car there for more than an hour..take a beater..bay area cali is hot for honda theft..it goes with the territory of owning one..im sorry for your loss man...got full coverage?

my friends think i'm paranoid when i don't want to park my car just anywhere and all i have is a slightly modded civic. goes to show you what they know cause all they think is "oh its just a civic, why worry, aint like its a beamer or something"

thats why my cousin sold his itr powered hatch before he moved to san fran, scared it was gonna get jacked

 

i know what it feels like, i lost a 2000 ek fitted with gsr, my parts list is not as long but that car was perfect in every way. But I am building another one so well see. I have a garage now.

 

sup guys thanks for cundolences!??!@ the lapd found my car in east la and i went to go look at it today, damn it is a sight i will always remeber, they left my car sittin of some 2 thirteen inch chrome rims and two spares in the back, but thats only the begining, my Si seats are gone, my shift light is gone, my whole front end is gone (01 bumper, honda accerss yellow fog lights, Si lip, original CTR grill) under the hood they took the battery, AEM short ram intake, oil cap, antifreeze resavoir, DC front strut they left the hood all scratched up. took my rear lip, left me headers, pillar bar, and rear strut. i had it for about 4 months and i put all the mods myself. now i have to start all over. im ganna start with a b16 swap to replace the old tired out single cam, then i already have a color matched bumper, all i need is lips girll seats and roto 15 slipstreams are ganna take the place of my old rims. a cbf hood and a spoon spoiler and rearview mirrors and then to top it all off turbo(not sure wichone) and a championship white paintjob, ill post pics as soon as my "noobie" status is removed. should be done with all that within 1 and a half months. ill keep u guys updated on my progress, ohh yea, about security, as a fist time tunner i wouldnt think i would happen to me. all i had was a cheap *** alarm, ill think of something for my new project, as for insurance goes all i had was liability but thats changing soon,suggestions will be well taken!!!!! thnxslots

cars are always stolen in washington...ask me and any other person from wa....its krazy..

but man, its a good thing they found ur hatch so fast. it took the cops 3 months to get mine back and now its compltely stripped good luck on ur next project tho! keep ur honda spirit strong! haha
