Default i want to repaint my valve cover...

after i use aircraft remover and sand paper to strip it, i want to repaint it with that heat resistant stuff then a color on top. whats the heat resistant stuff called?
or is this process wrong?

Use the aircraft stripper, clean and paint.

Maybe you could get it powder coated, alot larger range of colors and options there. And durability. Just a suggestion.

use aircraft stripper..from auto store....nothing better.
You can use regular paint. High temp is not needed. I have the proof.
