anyone use H&R OE SPORTS?
I always see people recommending them to those who do not want much of a drop, but im wondering if anyone actually has them on their ride?
Just wanted to see if they are that much stiffer than stock because I read somewhere that they are rated like 280F/160R or something, which seems somewhat stiff.

If my memory serves correctly (which it might not), but the stock springs on a G3 Integra are 220/110. So 280/160 would not be very stiff at all. In fact, if they drop more than 0.5", I would want stiffer springs for fear of bottoming them out. Thats purely my opinion though. I've only used stock springs, and my current setup of Ground Control 400/400 rates (rather stiff), but even with a 2.5" drop I don't bottom out. I do have extended top hats to help with that though.
i switched my "sports" out for some oe sports. much nicer ride, will never go back on a street car. definately feels slightly stiffer than any stock integra or civic i've driven, but i have yellows in there.

personally i'd get ITR springs over H&R OE.
rates for ITR are: 250/250
rates for the H&R OE are: 280/190 (EK Civic)
rates for the 94-01 GSR are: 200/95
so the ITR are 250/250 rates, so the ride should be alittle more balanced then H&R OE, its OEM so it should be long lasting and it only lowers minimal.
both will only lower approx 0.75"

the hr sports are 280 rear, i believe, and i found them too stiff in my hatch for pleasant driving, that why i pulled them. the itr's 250 its getting pretty close...
Those may be all ek numbers tho, and i have an eg. one other thing, my ride height would have been high and nose dived (light rear, b-swap), if i didn't have those 5 way height adjustable sp3 koni yellows.
I give the oe sports, koni sp3 yellows, plus a gsr rear bar, a
for a pleasant driving/decent handling, slightly lowered setup.

H&R Sports for EK are 330/280 yes.
Remember, H&R OE and the OEM Honda ones are progressive. The ITR is listed as Linear front, Progressive rear on clubsi.com. Progressive rate springs will be much softer then their linear rate counterparts too.
Daver, i'm surprised you found the H&R Sports to stiff, I had them with Illuminas and if I set the illuminas to soft, the ride was soft. Firm it up with the shocks though and you can feel the difference. Now i've gone right crazy and went with 565/450 Buddy Club coilovers.
for the shocks/rear sway bar...try a 22mm rear sway if you want big difference handling.

well, hehe, maybe its just my age, or that the frost upheaved roads just stink around here, but i just didn't enjoy the ride with the sports. Its quite possible that the yellows have pretty stiff bump rates too compared to others. I could tell the diff from adjusting the rebound from one end to the other, but the handling would suffer on soft.
With the oe's, i keep the rear yellows set to stiff and the front's much softer for everyday driving. On a road trip i'll soften it all up, works good for me.
