Default Civic not starting right now! argh!

i have to be at work in an hour and need help quick, so my car has done this once before but i can't get it fixed until this friday on payday. i have a d16z6 my problem is that after running it today i turned it off at a friends house for about 20 minutes when i got back in my car it started fine but when i went to hit the gas it sputters and boggs like its going too die. then once i get a little harder on the gas it comes back with power. now i turned my car off and it won't start back up. has happened before. it turns over but no firing, before i had to wait like 20 minutes before it would kick over by pumping the gas quickly. what is the problem? i am hitting a CEL for O2 sensor and i don't know when the spark plugs/wires were last changed?? sorry i don't have time to search

Check the vacuum lines . Or you could "ghetto" it and turn the idle up a bit for now. Good luck !

could it be flooded, i "heard" that if you start your car only for a few secs. your fuel system doesnt go threw the whole cycle and you may have flooded your engine. try starting it with the gas half way down.

Sounds like fuel pump. Specially if you had to wait. When you hit the gas the demand for fuel is greater so the pump raises the pressure, but it can't (for unknown reason) therefore starving the engine from fuel = shutting it down.
