HELP HELP I NEED HELP FOR MY INTERIOR LIGHTS FOR MY HONDA ACCORD
I need some instructions on how to replace the green dash lights in my car that adjusts the telp. i wanted to change them into blue but how do you do that, i know it's easy to take out the center concolse where the cd player is ut how do you do that? I have an 99 honda accord ex
first go to an auto parts store, and get a haynes manual (or another kind, any are helpful) it tells you all the screws to take out and so on, but as far as getting all the way under the dash, thats a lot of disassembling of the whole console, but if u really want blue, then its a good sat. sun. project
Yup, not only will he sell you the led kits for each switch and control on your dash, but he'll also do the upgrades for you (you send him your bits). Not only can he change the color on the picto-grams but the indicators also.
Quite reasonable, and quick service AND
he's got an instruction section for those DIY fiends in here!

East coast, I believe (I want to say South Caroline or Georga)
Bits = pieces in question
If you have to ask about soldering, it's better to let him do it.
He's taking 3mm H-intensity LED's and mateing them to T4 lamp sockets (real small)
The Heater/AC kit is two relacement PC boards with LED's already installed.
To do the lamps right, you need a "third hand" holding fixture, a desk top magnifier, and a 5-10 watt soldering iron. And you have to be quick. LED's don't take well to high heat during soldering. So you've got to be quick and accurate at the same time.

I'll tell you how I handled it. (This was my daily driver), and I didn't want to tie it up waiting for parts to arrive
I want on EBay and chased down a used:
Heater/AC control head
Dash dimmer switch
I purchased from Honda:
Cruise/Sunroof switch
Rear Defogger Switch
Hazard Warning Switch
I contacted him from an estimate, made a few email contacts, made the payment to his PayPal Account and sent everything along by UPS.
Everything was back in 11 days.
I suffered no down time, and it took about 4 hours to get it all in. The most complicated part is reaching the Heater/AC Control. The switches pop out. If you want to do the dash Cluster (I didn't), It's right there for you.
