Hey everyone. I just bought a pair of black leather seats from an Acura RSX Type-S, and was planning to put them into my 1997 Honda Prelude Type-SH. Do I have to make a customized bracket, or is there a seat bracket available for purchase that I can use to do this conversion?

Also, the seats seem to be quite a bit taller than the factory seats were. Do you think that this will be ugly?

 

It won't be "ugly"... just very uncomfortable if you're tall.

 

I've done some more research and found out that they actually won't sit much taller when the mounting brackets are fabricated. However, what I really want to know is if I haveto fabricate custom brackets, or if I can just use Sparco sliders and mount the RSX seats on them.

 

whats the weight on those seats , i wanted to get the base non leather seat but im affraid they might be heavier then i would liek
