is an ARC welder tig convertible?
i have a rather large arc welder its about 5 years old, i was wondering, can these be converted to be used as a tig welder?
never had much use for it, but if there is a conversion kit or something, it might be worth it

Depends what kind of arc welder you have.
There are quite a few different kinds of arc welders such as GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, etc etc.
If you are referring to a SMAW machine as an arc welder then yes you can convert it with some different parts, but a dedicated GTAW machine will be better.
