High-Flow Cat for 00 Accord
Hey i have a quick question, i was thinking of getting a Magnaflow highflow cat and do you just get the universal cat or is there one specifically for a 98-02 accord? Also size is a question too, 2.5" should be more than enough for just a lightly modified accord right?
You get a universal cat, and then you can have flanges welded on, at least that's what I understand. Direct replacement cats are a real pain.
2.5 is plenty for a light accord. Just remember that high flow cats arent as efficient as OEM ones, so if youre in a state that does emissions...

Very true, but he forgot to add "more than" in front of "plenty"

Now why do you want to go and do that?
A "lightly modified" Accord has no need for a "High-Flow" Catalytic Converter unless you want it to sound like you're forcing your exhaust thru a Tuba!
You'll do better with nothing more the a 2 1/4" Cat-back system.

Pretty much. My piping is 2.37" or so and that's fine. I doubt the cat needs to be more than 2.25.
