Default B16a questions for my 91 crx si

Im getting my B16a full swap asap and i was wondering a few things......

first... i was planning on having it bored out and was wondering if anyone knows if its still structurally stable bored to a 1.9L i was thinking either boring to a 1.8 or 1.9

second.... i was also planning on rebuilding the internals such as cams and stuff and if i should get custom **** done or if anyone knows any good places

third... what does getting it port and polished cost roughly

Last.... i was gonna get the full swap from Hmotorsonline (any other ideas)???? along with wiring harnesses, shift linkage and mounts for my REX from hasport

I recomend if you wana build a hot race motor bored out and built, save your self some money and build it right the first time by a quality builder with quality parts. I recomend sleeving it and being realistic with the parts your using and there capabilitys. porting and polishing can cost anywhere from 350-900 on the realy high end. It just depends how aggresive you get with it but remember getting to big a port without the ability to use it can cause your motor to run worse.

I don't recommend boring it out. There are plenty of great piston sets out there if you want to go for a high compression all motor setup or low-compression with sleeving for a nice turbo setup. Port and Polish is always a plus, as a friend said this weekend "It's all about CFM"

You mentioned boring without mentioning what pistons you would be looking to install.. That makes me think you may not quiiiite know what you're talking about. Throwing machining jobs at an engine block and head without understanding what the outcome will be, can easily become a costly mistake.

Checkout the FAQ thread here, in the All Motor Forum and the Forced Induction forum.
Don't look at the parts people use, look at why they chose those parts. Get a better understanding of how an engine works. And try this post again.

Don't mean to be rude, but i think checking the FAQ threads will save you alot of time and increase your understanding. Especially the All Motor Forum FAQs if you're looking to build an engine.
