Default What Alarm should I get???

I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, but just for safety and **** I want an alarm like ever1 else. I have a tight budjet of about $80 and I am lloking for a remote entry alarm with at least 1 key fob. I would be more than happy to buy a used 1. So if you have an alarm you dont tell me! Also I have a 95 Integra GSR, so It would have to fit that?(OH yeah I don't know **** about alarms, so if u give some knowledge it is greatly appreciated.)

Hmm maybe go with an autopage alarm, you can get the Autopage RS-720LCD for a little more than 80 bucks on ebay, i think it will run you about 100 so borrow 20 bucks from your buddies or something until you can pay them back, this is a remote start alarm too

If you dont know much about alarms I would recoment buying DEI they are the most installer friendly in my opinion. You can some times find the hornet line of DEI product for pretty cheap. Then read the entire installation manual it will tell you what every wire does and how to test for the wire in the car. Then go to your local best buy and pay the installer $5 to print you out a tech soft sheet for your spicific car and go to work. You may be able to post your make model here and get the wire colors also.

You can probably get one of the DEI alarms for about $80 http://www.dei.com.

All alarms will come with a "brain" an on or off board sensor of some kind, dual shock mostly, [soft impact will "chirp" the siren, warn a way, and hard impact will trip the alarm] there will also be a siren, LED and an override/valet/program switch.

They will all have the capability, to hook up the doors and trunk/hatch, and hood, [by adding a pin-switch for hood] all will also have door lock outputs, [at least, low current neg. (-) triggers] and as you have a teg, it's all you need for key less entry, they will all have some kind of "disabling" output, [starter cut] it may be built in or be off-board and may or may not come with a relay, [if off-board]

All the DEI product we carry comes with owners and install guides and 2 remotes with batt.

Hope this helps, feel free to IM me if you need more help 94
