Default My Lady in Red (DC2) and a 'timeline' ....

I've been a member on here for quite some time, but I've never posted pics. of my teg. So here goes....

I got the car back in Jan. of 2005 and she's come a long way since then (I think). Paint was faded on one side, headlights as well. Dent on hood. Besides that, the body of the car was perfect. Oh, and mechanically ran fine and still is. The car came with some cheap Ebay intake and a stage 3 clutch which I learned on and needless to say, I'm glad i did! This is what it looked like when I got the car.

Then, while taking pictures with our friends one night, I sort of didn't see a light post and I hit my rear bumper. Nothing major, but I was pissed! I then decided to paint my car. I went to about 5-6 different bodyshops and finally I got SO lucky with the bodyshop my family uses and they gave me a killer deal on a paintjob. The work they do is awesome and I was looking forward to getting it painted there.

This is her AFTER the paintjob:

Then, I obviously wanted to lower it and get wheels. I got lucky on that too. After changing my suspension like 3 times (long story) I finally got the ground controls. My girl friend was selling her black slips at the time and I jumped on those. They went from black to 'polished'. I'd like to eventually polish them, but it's time consuming for my boyfriend.

And this is what she looks like now:

I've got an exhaust that needs to be installed. Also, hopefully I'll get the ITR replica lip this Xmas. Thanks to my brother and boyfriend and friends for their help!

ahh yes, and for my little bro in law for the amazing pics he can take!

Aircraft Carrier Remover/ Paint Remover ... My boyfriend has used it about 47 times on his wheels, so it's pretty good. We haven't polished them per say. The paint is JUST stripped right now.

I got a little confused when you say girl friend, then boyfriend..but now i get it..i feel slow . I love the polished SLIPS..looks like my car when i first got it except mine's a little different. I have a lip but it's off right now, should get the 94-97 jdm itr lipl, it makes a huge difference. You should either get a -r spoiler or go wingless. I love the wingless look! I love those rolling shots

Yes, it's Milano red and it was 1k for everything. It was a deal though, because my dad is friends with the owner of the shop. Normally, it would have cost me over 2k EASILY.

KYB GR-2's .. front shocks are from the CRX though. Changed the forks too. I'm eventually going to get AGX's in the front since it's so low. The front won't go higher than what you see basically b/c of the shocks.

You should just get a whole set of agx for all sides. From what I know, GR-2's are just stock replacement shocks, not meant for lowered cars. I like the ride height.

looks fine, plus when you put a lip on it'll cover that part anyhow.
