Yes, 2 ways, with an FM mod, or if you mean hard wire and the stock radio is a CD changer controller, you can get an adpt. to change the CD port into an AUX input. 94

Or just by an alpine mp3 cd changer and just plug it in.

alpine changer is a whole different story, not to mention it is not a simple plug in, you still need an adaptor.... and then you need to rip those mp3's onto a disc, and then load them into the changer, if you have an mp3 player now, it's easier to add an aux input and run what you've got.... if it's an ipod you may (not 100% positive) you may be able to find one that charges as well....

That $10 adapter sure does make it a pain in the ***. Please....... you still have to buy an adapter for the Ipod. And yes its a simple plug in and go.

If you cant burn a disc you got issues. I can fit over 800 songs in my changer at once and thats at 392kB/s the songs that work on your Ipod will also work on cd so no need to "rip" additional mp3's

I also have unlimited storage I haven't had a need to go past the 6 disc I currently have in the car. And the discs will work in my truck that has an Alpine no need to by another adapter for the Ipod.

As others have mentioned you can make the CD input auxillary. I would be surpised if the stock CD changer controls work on the Ipod this way though.

actually the ipod adaptors allow you to throw the ipod in a glove box and completly control them....

if he already has an mp3 handheld, it's much easier to go with the aux input, just an adaptor...

to add an alpine mp3 capable changer, you need to use an ai-net (cha-s634 if I remember right) changer which is not directly compatable with a honda radio, first you need an adaptor, which will be m-bus ready (and m-bus changers are no longer in production) then you need an m-bus to ai-net adaptor cable, this can be hand made, however most people are not familiar with how.

I have no problem with mp3 changers, I have one in my wife's 02 grand cherokee linked to her alpine XM, and the 9815 in my beater (2000 taurus) and the 9835 in my del sol all play mp3 discs.... but for overall ease and expense, using an aux adaptor will be the easiest

cost of buying a changer and adaptors versus buying the aux adaptor, or ipod adaptor? changer and adaptors will be more all day ... please ... not to mention you can't throw a set of headphones on your changer and take it with you when you are working/cuttin the grass/ jogging/ whatever your doing

The adapters I have seen that allow that much control cost $150 about the same price as the Alpine changer. And the cable is far more difficult to connect to the stereo then the m-bus adapter which cost $10 and just plugs in.

A simple auxillary input doesn't allow that much control.

What ever floats you boat.
