Default DC 4-2-1 onto D16Y8 ...heatshield?

heres a really quick question... i was wondering if putting on DC headers onto my stock 00 ex motor will make puttin a heatshield obsolete? I mean, i know the stock header had a heatshield but most pics i see the headers don't have the heat shield... so i cant put the stock on with the DC huh? also, what other things should I look out for (ie radiator, ac, etc)? will they git in the way of the header or naw? thanks in advance

Your stock heat shield bolts to your stock manifold. So no you will not be able to use your stock heatshield with the dc header.

a header replaces the stock exhaust manifold, thats why the shield wont work.

that means i have to take off the stock header and mani in order to put the new header on... is this a difficult job?

OMG are you serious? Yeah you have to take the manifold off. Since you have no idea what's involved i too second that you should have someone who knows alittle more about it install it or help you out.
